2003/1/4: Ooh, look. New year. Yay. Okay, I'm only updating because I realized I asked for fanart for my birthday and didn't give any way to contact me. Sloppiness on my part. Well, I've finally added a link to my email address. It's on the main page, just click on the "The Retrospectre" link and it should show up. If that doesn't work, what the heck, here it is again: hotwire@mailrat.com .
2002/12/31: NOW the Special Christmas comic is up. Yeesh. Took me long enough. And I've got another special coming up. Maybe I'll get it up before my birthday next year. (My birthday is January 8th, by the way, and fanart makes a great present any time! Hint, hint.) Happy holidays, and new year, and day. Woohoo!
2002/12/26: Special Christmas comic coming up today. Already drawn, I just need to ink, scan, color, and load. ...It'll be up before midnight tonight, at least. (I hope.)
2002/12/20: Next sketch (which actually isn't as sketchy as most of my sketches), Emily meets the mall Santa while Eddy looks on in embarrassment. If you have the "Itsy-Bitsy, Teeny-Weeny, Yellow Polka-dot Bikini" song stuck in your head after looking at it...well, you won't be alone.
2002/12/18: Has it really been over a month since the last update? Wow. Time certainly flies. Well, in an effort to make up for the absense somehow, I've decided to put up any craptacular holiday sketches I draw. First up, we have a picture of Eddy stringing a popcorn garland...thing. Enjoy.
2002/10/27: Oog. Many apologies. The last comic in this storyline IS coming up. I just...need to draw, ink, scan, color, and load it. *squint* Yeah. And then I have some writing to do for the next storyline. Sooo...Well, I'll get it done before November, at least. Sorry for the delay!
2002/10/11: On this day, the day this page was created, I have decided on the date-writing system I will use for this page. Meaning, how I'll write the date (duh). Now some people, some people will write the date month/day/year. And some wacky folks (non-Americans mostly, I think) will write it day/month/year. As if there's any sense in that! You have to have them all mixed up in order to have any fun! Not this wimpy going in order from smallest measurement of time to longest thing. (I am, of course, joking. I actually much prefer that system and would use it if I hadn't used the other system for so long. And also because it confuses other people, and me, sometimes.)
Foreign Stuff (Those wacky foreigners. Getting into hijinks and tomfoolery and such.)
2002/10/11: Have you been to the Funny Farm? You should! And while there, take a peek at this year's Comic Jam! (This year's theme: Limited Edition, Evil, Enchanted Monopoly.) This year, I have made my own "special" contribution to the insanity. There's always room for Jello. ;)
That all said, I have decided to just use the same date system that I use to name the comics. That is year/month/day, and is really just the second system in reverse but we're going to pretend it's clever and new. Huzzah! So everyone got that? That date up there at the beginning of this stoopid rant means "the year 2002, the month of October, and the day the eleventh". Understand? Yes? Good.
Now for real news! Anyone who's seen the 2002/10/10 comic will no doubt have noticed the prettyshiny background in the second panel. This background was created by Twink and everyone should go look at her other prettyshiny things...and then come right back here so they can read the rest of this. Anyway, Twink has been given the official title of "Official Retrospectrum Prettyshiny Background Maker". So there will be more prettyshiny background Twinkageness in The Retrospectrum's future! Yay!
...That is all.
